Blastrite Platinum Grit Releases Extra Coarse Sieve Sizes

Following feedback from our contractors in the field, Blast Abrasives Supply (BAS) is pleased to announce that the release of Blastrite Platinum Grit in new coarser sizes:

1. B100: size range 0.2-2.0mm delivering anchor profile of 100-140 micron; and
2. B125: size range 0.4-2.5mm delivering anchor profile of 125-195 micron.

These new extra coarse sieves sizes are designed for contractors requiring very high anchor profiles – or those struggling to meet specified anchor profile due to blasting system pressure drop, perhaps caused by excessive blast hose lengths.

These new grades meet the toughest industry standards, with negligible free silica and abrasive conductivity (ASTM D4940) below 150 µS/cm.
